- Bruce Dunn, Bike Magazine on the Arrowmax GT501 - Dec '08
"These tyres give very good rider feedback and confidence. They turn in accurately and hold the chosen line round and through the corner. Bumps were absorbed well and never unsettled the bike. These are a very good choice. Against the other tyres the GT501 gave the best wear rate and performed superbly."

- Pete Boast, Bike magazine on the Qualifier D209 - Nov '08
"These tyres feel good, particularly into the fast curves. They are stable and steer accurately. They instil confidence when braking and on corner entry because of the feedback they offer. Stability was good at high speed and accelerating out of corners."

- Bruce Dunn, Bike magazine on the Roadsmart - Nov '08
"High-speed stability accelerating on to Bruntingthorpe's main straight under full throttle was superb. Feel under braking is as good as a full-on sports tyre. An excellent choice."

- Jamie Wilkins, FastBikesMag.com on the GP Racer D209 - October '08
"We have tested these on road bikes, and BJ ran a set for over 4,000 miles and loved them. You'd do well to get three Racetec rears to last that long and they'd never get as warm.
I think this is the best track day tyre out there."
Jamie Wilkins, FastBikes.Mag.com, Oct '08
- Martin Fitz-Gibbons, Bike Magazine on the Roadsmart - October '08
"Don't let the sports-touring classification fool you, these are fantastic tyres that allow for some staggering liberties on the road, in the wet or peg-down at Paddock Hill Bend. Stable too, and barely seem to have worn."

- Bruce Dunn, Bike Magazine on the GP Racer - October '08
"Approaching the faster corners the bike could be laid on its side with total confidence, mid-corner stability and grip were good enough to outclass the stock suspension. Excellent track day tyre."

- Adam "Chad" Child, MCN Road Tester on the GP Racer D209 - August '08
After the tyres completed 3,000 miles on his ZX-10R , including 4 track days: "Tyre is shagged but f***ing amazing, really impressed."
Adam "Chad" Child, MCN Road Tester, August '08
- Michael Neeves, MCN on the GP Racer - July '08
"I'm on my third set of Dunlop GP Racers and frankly they're brilliant and can handle everything I throw at them. On the road they're superb in the wet and on the track grip like buggery without the need for tyre warmers.
The rears are also easily good enough for 2500 miles-plus of road and track fun."
Michael Neeves, MCN, 23rd July '0808
- Bruce Dunn, Bike Magazine on the Roadsmart - Jun '08
"Similar in feel to Dunlop's sportier tyres, but with no obvious trade-off. Straight line stability is good and under acceleration and over the tarmac joins in the runway, they're fine. At the end of the runway, braking and turning-in at 165mph feels remarkably stress-free - everything is very controlled. The Dunlops are on a par with the Pirellis - both feel very sporty and suit the bike very well. Only time will tell how they stack up after a few thousand miles, but the Roadsmart's dual compound could give Dunlop an advantage."

- John Hogan, TWO on the Roadsmart - Jan '08
"The tests we carried out at the Dunlop test facility in Mireval proved that the Roadsmart is definitely up to scratch. I rode the high speed circuit on a GSX-R750 and found the Roadsmart to deliver everything that you would want from a standard road tyre on sportsbike."
"Such is the versatility of the Roadsmart it provides you with enough confidence inspiring grip at high speed, carrying loads of lean on track, yet is also able to get you home when it's lashing down."
John Hogan, TWO, Jan '08
- Kenny Pryde, SuperBike on the Roadsmart - Dec '07
On testing the Roadsmart back-to-back with Michelin's Pilot Road 2 and Bridgestone's BT-021, "You didn't need to have a lot of training to notice the differences in the three brands of tyre and the Dunlop out-performed the others in every area we tested."
"If you are in the market for a sports-touring tyre, buy the Dunlop ROADSMART and you won't be disappointed. And if you see the others being discounted, you'll know why."
Kenny Pryde, SuperBike, Dec '07
- Alastair Fagan, Fast Bikes on the Roadsmart - Dec '07
"I had to keep hitting my restart button and remind myself the Roadsmart is, in fact, a sports-touring tyre and not a race tyre, as it still lends a hand to the Gixer in maintaining its famously awesome turn-in speed."
"The Roadsmart is never going to have the out-and-out grip of a Qualifier RR, but it's not meant to. However you can still carry enough corner speed and angle of dangle to scrape toe sliders."
"Overall from our introduction the Roadsmarts rule this class by a small margin."
Alastair Fagan, Fast Bikes, Dec '07
- Steve Takle, Fast Bikes on the Mutant - Dec '07
"I'm not such a natural in the saddle, but my confidence has been given a huge boost by fitting Dunlop's excellent supermoto specific Mutant tyres. Yes, I know it's a bloody stupid name for a tyre, but who cares when you can instantly feel the improvement over the OE Pirellis? They're still furry with the mould nipples, but even barely scrubbed in, I have extra faith that the front end isn't going to wash in a bend."
Steve Takle, Fast Bikes, Dec '07
- Kenny Pryde, SuperBike on the Roadsmart - Oct '07
"Never has a tyre company laid itself open to such scrutiny with a new tyre. And Dunlop was right to be confident, the new Roadsmart is a very good tyre."
"With road riding in wet and dry conditions, wet and dry riding on track and a handling circuit session, Dunlop wasn't hiding. And, in the end, it was right to be confident. If you are in the market for a sports-touring tyre, you might as well start haggling with your local Dunlop dealer for some ROADSMARTS. Truly."
Kenny Pryde, SuperBike.co.uk, 3rd Oct '07
- Bertie Simmonds, BikeAnimal.com on the Roadsmart - Oct '07
"The Roadsmart's performance on a track was such that you had to keep reminding yourself that this isn't a track tyre."
"The two-day test left us very impressed with the ROADSMARTS; these tyres are highly recommended." Star rating: *****
Bertie Simmonds, BikeAnimal.com, 8th Oct '07
- Michael Neeves, MCN on the Roadsmart - Oct '07
"In terms of outright dry grip the Dunlop is comfortably ahead of the competition and the ride quality is nice and plush, just ahead of the Michelin and the slightly harsher feeling Bridgestones."
"But it's in the rain where the Roadsmart scores very highly. Both the Michelin and the Dunlop are head and shoulders above the Bridgestone in terms of grip and confidence with the Roadsmart just pipping the Pilot Road 2 overall, putting in a very impressive and confidence-inspiring performance.
We can't recommend the Dunlop Roadsmart highly enough."
Michael Neeves, MCN, 17th Oct '07
- Bertie Simmonds, British Dealer News on the Qualifier RR - Jul '07
"Since I had the Qualifier RR fitted to my Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, I've done about 200 miles and it's done exactly what I wanted it to do - without any fuss."
Bertie Simmonds, British Dealer News, Jul '07
- Bertie Simmonds, British Dealer News on the GP RACER - Jul '07
"I was impressed by the GP Racer. It turns quickly and feels stable - perhaps even more so than comparable products from some of the other tyre manufacturers."
Bertie Simmonds, British Dealer News, Jul '07
