sportmax GP Racer Slick

For club racers and track day riders

  • Triple Tread race compound ensures maximum grip at extreme lean angles while stiffer centre compound resists acceleration wear and guarantees braking stability.
  • Dunlop TTC design also delivers greater grip consistency with reduced tendency to fade as the race/track session progresses.
  • Lightweight front casing and race profile give instant and progressive handling response.
  • JLB rear construction ensures faultless high-speed stability and means that bike set-up time is kept to a minimum.
  • Incredibly fast warm-up time. Tyre warmers not necessary for track day riders!
  • Because the GP Racer Slick's handling characteristics are closely related to Dunlop's road tyres, they are an ideal choice for track day riders with a spare set of wheels.
  • Simple compound choices.

NOTE: Sportmax GP Racer Slick is NOT road legal.

Triple Tread Compound

With all of the features that make the GP Racer D209 such a successful tyre for track day riders and club racers, the GP Racer Slick delivers even more grip in the dry and because there are no tread grooves, even faster handling response, but still with very linear progression from upright to maximum lean.

So the GP Racer Slick is just as easy to set up, just as stable at speed and uses the same TTC technology for huge levels of consistent grip and fast warm-up.

Just remember, the GP Racer Slick is only for use on dry surfaces.

In the press

"In terms of outright dry grip the Dunlop is comfortably ahead of the competition and the ride quality is nice and plush, just ahead of the Michelin and the slightly harsher feeling Bridgestones."
